In Paraguay, the market is saturated with a wide range of delivery applications, it is currently served by approximately 57% of competitors. In order to stand out and increase the trial, we had to do something extraordinary. Additionally, the capital city of Asunción has broken records as one of the hottest places in the world, with recent heat waves pushing temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, that felt like 50. All of this provided an ideal scenario for us to demonstrate our business differentiation.
We decided to challenge the delivery app market by doing something that seemed completely crazy - delivering beers with delivery drivers on fire, riding through the city in the middle of a heatwave. This never-before-seen action gave our customers an unforgettable experience and made us stand out in a category that has always been very traditional, somewhat boring, and where most companies operate in the same way - you buy and receive, without anything else happening around. If you want to stand out from the crowd you have to try new ways of doing things.
For the first time in history, we hired really famous stunt doubles from Hollywood, and had them deliver ice-cold beers to several clients that ordered through the TaDa app. The stunt professionals were riding our motorcycles lit in flames.
